One Level Living (OLL) Concept
One level living (OLL) is essentially the combination of visitability and age-in-place features with entrances that are zero-step (for definitions of these terms, see the Accessible Dreams white paper AccD-003, A Common Language of Accessible Dreams PDF ).
An OLL program uses modular and manufactured homes to offer clients affordable one level living in a neighborhood of their choice. This is an option for new construction that also provides the buyer with the choice in location, affordability, and accessibility features.
Accessible Dreams teamed with Dream Homes, Inc. (a local distributor of Champion Homes) and Progressive Mobility (a supplier for assistive technology and mobility aids) to create a unique OLL model home based on the Independence Place and Liberty Place design concepts (see above). It is available to tour on their lot in Finleyville, Washington County, PA.
Details on design, construction, and financing of the OLL Model appear are coming soon.
